I am also looking for an alternative to Easy Send (as it will be discontinued).
I found "Simple Card" http://www.simpleusa.com/card/sobre-o-cartao/
It has $80 annual fee, allows extra card like easy send (so the accounts are separate if one card gets compromised), $2 withdrawal fee per transaction, and exchange fees too. I don't know how well it works as I haven't signed up yet. Wonder if anyone has any experience with them.

Any better alternatives?

Hi – Looks like HSBC is discontinuing it easy send accounts on June 17th. Does anyone know any good alternatives??

$15.00 MONTHLY FEE EVEN SO WESTERN UNION HAS A $12.00 PER TRANSACTION FEE IF YOU SEND 2X OR MORE PER MOTH EASY SEND IS CHEAPER THE BANK EXCHANGE RATES ARE A LITTLE LOWER THAN THE GOING RATE BUT THRE ARE NO TRANSACTION FEE'S WITH EASY SEND ACCOUNT AND NO ATM FEE'S IF YOUR RECIPENT GOES TO A HSBC ATM. I've been checking the transactions, and the conversion rate seems to be equal to or better than the exchange rate I find on yahoo for my target currency. I don't believe they charge you anything extra.

I am also looking into Easy Send. Does HSBC offer a good exchange rate? A bad exchange rate could easily take several percents off the original amount. I tried calling their customer service but even they don't seem to know, and I can't find any info online. Thanks!
